  • Job Title: Risk Analyst (OG-II / OG-I)
  • Location: Karachi, Pakistan
  • Key Responsibilities: Liquidity risk analysis, reporting, policy development, and ensuring compliance with Basel III standards.
  • Required Qualification: Graduation or equivalent in Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Sciences.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Banking/Financial Institution (1 year in risk management).
  • Employment Type: Contractual basis for three years, renewable.

Skills

  • Good analytical skills with an aptitude for quantitative analysis
  • Awareness of economic factors and their linkages/interrelationships
  • Basic knowledge of risk, controls and regulatory requirements
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and updating liquidity risk management policies and procedures/controls
  • Conduct liquidity risk analysis against internal limits and regulatory standards, including maturity gap analysis, RSA/RSL mismatch and other key liquidity risk parameters
  • Calculate Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Liquidity Monitoring Tools (LMTs); ensure accurate and timely submission of Basel III Liquidity Standards reports to SBP in accordance with prescribed reporting frequencies
  • Review the Contingency Funding Plan (CFP) and coordinate inputs from relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare MIS and management reports on liquidity risk for ALCO and senior management
  • Perform duration gap analysis and liquidity stress testing
  • Perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s)
