Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and clean surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and re-clean if necessary
• Assemble, lubricate, and prepare instruments for sterilization
• Wrap, seal, and label instrument sets and trays
• Sterilize and disinfect materials as per protocol
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and sterilizers
• Conduct daily tests for sterilization effectiveness
• Clean and maintain CSSD machinery and equipment
• Monitor and replenish stock of consumables
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to supervisors
• Dispatch surgical packs based on requisitions
• Collect used instrument packs from user areas
