Duties and Responsibilities:

• Code inpatient, outpatient, and day care discharges using coding classification and TIH guidelines
• Prepare standard reports from coded/abstract data under the supervision of the Coding Assistant Manager
• Participate in client audit meetings to enhance coding accuracy
• Rectify anomalies in existing medical record abstracts
• Update histopathology of coded charts daily
• Provide monthly updates on daycare and inpatient discharges reports
• Update monthly discharges reports based on specialty
• Trace and code all medical record folders not coded on the next day
• Trace and code backlog discharges
• Perform other assigned tasks by the Head/Assistant Manager coding
• Maintain and manage medical record folders
