Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door sessions on Maternal and new born health, Family planning, Mental health & Gender-based violence (GBV) services
- Organize group dialogue sessions
- Distribute culturally appropriate IEC materials in local languages
- Identify at-risk individuals and connect them to appropriate services
- Use observation plus interviews to detect signs and refer to Health facilities
- Promote WFS as safe, inclusive community spaces
- Mobilize community participation during campaigns or key events
- Coordinate with facility teams during SRH, MNCH, hygiene, and mental health campaigns
- Guide beneficiaries on how to access services
- Report rumors or resistance within the community
- Offer basic psychosocial support and promote stress management
- Educate on Sleep hygiene, Stress and grief coping strategies
- Refer serious mental health cases to professionals
- Promote help-seeking through religious or traditional references
- Ensure privacy and confidentiality, especially in GBV and MHPSS referrals
- Build community awareness on how to access multisectoral services through internal and external referrals
- Conduct sessions on Survivor-centred approaches, Informed consent and Confidential referral processes
- Ensure continuity of care and strengthen community feedback loops
- Follow up with referred cases (with consent)
- Identify and report barriers to service uptake
- Document community feedback and share with supervisors for improvements
- Perform any task assigned by the supervisor
