- Manage assigned patients in the Medical Critical Care Complex, completing monthly duties in shifts
- Provide comprehensive ventilator management, including oxygen therapy escalation/de-escalation and intubation support
- Conduct hourly patient assessments, charting vital signs and ventilator parameters in consultation with a consultant
- Perform arterial catheterization and manage arterial lines
- Assist with intubation procedures, suctioning, and provide ventilator support
- Provide care for patients requiring oxygen therapy or airway assistance
- Maintain records of ventilators and update daily functional status in MCCC
- Update extubation checklists and document incidents related to ventilated patients
- Document all spontaneous breathing trials and parameters followed per weaning policy
- Participate in education related to airway management, suctioning, intubation, NIV, and ventilator parameters
- Learn intubation techniques and contribute to educational initiatives
- Ensure safe transport of critically ill patients requiring ventilatory assistance, both inter- and intra-hospital
