Duties and Responsibilities:

• Connect patients to hemodialysis treatment
• Ensure patient safety protocols are followed
• Handle ancillary services for smooth hemodialysis facility operation
• Seek assistance from senior technicians or doctors for patient instability issues
• Prepare hemodialysis machines for treatment
• Manage Reverse Osmosis plants and prepare dialysis concentrates
• Assist doctors in performing temporary angio-access
• Handle permanent or temporary angio-access of hemodialysis patients
• Monitor patients on hemodialysis and document observations
• Address hemodialysis machine alarms during treatment
• Assure hemodynamic and angio-access stability at the end of treatment
• Listen to patients' complaints and convey them to the duty doctor
• Inform the doctor on duty or senior technician about patient hemodynamic instability
• Initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in case of sudden cardiovascular collapse
• Observe infection control practices as per protocol
• Document inventory consumption
• Run the dialyzer reprocessing unit independently
• Manage appointments for maintenance hemodialysis patients
• Ensure a patient-friendly environment in the treatment area
• Maintain professional conduct and good communication skills
• Observe confidentiality in patient care matters
• Keep records of medication issue and administration
• Perform duty at any hemodialysis campus within the city when required
• Undertake assigned shift duties
