Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all operational affairs of the Branch including regulatory compliance, KYC/AML, product processing, and customer service
• Ensure adherence to banking laws, regulations, and SOPs, including Shariah Compliance
• Oversee seamless account opening processes and manage day-to-day transactions with minimal errors
• Perform, monitor, and authorize all financial and non-financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Ensure secure opening and closing of branches and cash vaults, reporting any delays immediately
• Perform balancing of vaults, tokens, taxes, receivables, and GLs, ensuring account balances are justified and within regulatory limits
• Review suspense, parking, and clearing GL heads, reporting discrepancies to the Branch Operations Manager
• Facilitate seamless processing of clearing and inter-branch transactions, assisting team members during peak periods
• Manage ATM related GL heads, reporting any overage or shortage to management
• Monitor dormant and inoperative accounts, and manage customer inquiries and complaints effectively
• Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure timely complaint resolution
• Manage budgetary requirements, including incomes, expenses, and accruals accurately
• Ensure all branch General Ledger Heads for assets, liabilities, income, and expenses are balanced to avoid penalties
• Address all audit requirements and observations, implementing measures to prevent recurrence
• Maintain comprehensive records, files, and registers related to daily operations
• Ensure all processes are completed within specified Turnaround Time (TAT)
• Perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisors
