Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and leadership to the restaurant team
• Create and maintain a positive team culture and high morale
• Execute and assist in developing action plans aligned with company goals

• Ensure operational standards are consistently upheld
• Complete all required training, including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan
• Ensure the restaurant delivers excellent guest experiences
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels through effective hiring and retention
• Ensure team members receive proper training, mentoring, and development
• Hold team members accountable for their performance
• Create and manage effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs
• Plan and delegate shift assignments with clear expectations
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Strive to increase sales by building community relationships
• Control costs and losses by maintaining operational standards and compliance
• Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with manager reviews
• Maintain compliance with all Zaxby’s Franchising LLC, Zax LLC, federal, state, and local laws
• Utilize management tools and maintain accurate records
• Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans for improvement
• Handle and report guest and team member complaints/concerns/injuries promptly
• Maintain an attitude of flexibility and perform above and beyond job parameters
• Ensure the team works safely and follows all safety guidelines
• Escalate concerns to supervisors when appropriate
• Perform all other duties necessary for proper restaurant operations
