Skills
- BScN/Post RN with minimum 06 years of relevant experience
- MScN with minimum 03 years of experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage shift schedules and staff allocation based on patient acuity
- Oversee patient care activities and ensure effective utilization of present staff
- Coordinate with previous shift supervisors for patient handover reports
- Conduct daily morning briefings with staff to discuss concerns
- Ensure staff compliance with duty hours, uniforms, and punctuality
- Maintain professional conduct of healthcare workers with patients and colleagues
- Prepare wards for physician rounds and ensure patient documentation is up-to-date
- Conduct bed-to-bed patient handover and ensure documentation in patient records
- Physically verify ward inventory against checklists and conduct random checks
- Ensure availability of consumable supplies and record consumption
- Liaise with consultants and medical officers to discuss patient care and resolve issues
- Ensure completion and review of patients' initial assessment and care plans
- Monitor vital signs, height, and weight of new admissions and document in patient records
- Ensure provision of hygiene care as per patients' individual needs
- Oversee the collection, labeling, and dispatch of patient specimens for investigations
- Ensure proper care of I/V lines, CVCs, drains, and tubes as per guidelines
- Carry out wound dressing following hospital guidelines
- Provide direct patient care during staff shortages or emergencies
- Ensure staff are aware of medication management processes, including prescription, dispensing, and administration
- Conduct weekly meetings with senior nursing team to review staffing and nursing service outcomes
- Liaise with CNI for in-service education needs, training, and development activities
- Inform Nursing Management of any special needs of the ward under supervision
- Conduct random rounds with staff to assess patient care and overall management
