• • Direct patient care and drug utilization review in emergency settings
• • Adherence to sterile area SOPs and protocols
• • Maintenance and documentation of environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure)
• • Providing drug information to healthcare professionals
• • Monthly stock reporting (fast/slow moving, short expiry, expired, damaged items)
• • Monthly inspection of nursing units for medication storage and distribution
• • Technical and administrative support for staff
• • Conducting relevant trainings and CMEs
• • Monitoring and documenting equipment maintenance (refrigerators, ACs)
• • Providing regular updates and KPI reports to management
• • Training pharmacy interns and residents
• • Filling PKPs and stock cover sheets per shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Manage direct patient care and drug utilization review at the ER Pharmacy
• • Ensure all SOPs and sterile area protocols are followed meticulously
• • Maintain and document temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials in sterile areas
• • Provide timely drug information to healthcare professionals and document all interactions
• • Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing stock status, including fast/slow moving, short expiry, expired, and damaged items
• • Conduct monthly inspections of nursing units (Wards, ICU, CCU, ER) to monitor storage and distribution of crash carts, controlled drugs, and emergency medications
• • Submit inspection reports to Deputy/Manager Pharmacy services and provide a copy to nursing management
• • Offer technical and administrative support and conduct relevant training sessions for staff
• • Prepare and present CMEs on various pharmaceutical topics
• • Submit monthly reports on interventions and drug information to Deputy/Manager Pharmacy
• • Ensure temperature monitoring, dusting, refrigerator cleaning, and related documentation are accurately maintained
• • Verify that planned preventive maintenance (PPM) is performed on pharmaceutical refrigerators, ACs, and other equipment
• • Provide management with regular updates and monthly KPI reports
• • Train interns and pharmacy residents
• • Fill PKPs and stock cover sheets in each shift
• • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the shift in-charge or Pharmacy Management
