• Assisting in procurement of general items
• Maintaining records of comparative statements and purchases
• Conducting market surveys for rates and quotations
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors
• Arranging emergency items and following up on purchase orders
• Coordinating with IT for system updates
• Managing requirements for Maintenance and Biomedical Departments

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement of general items from appropriate sources
• Assist in the preparation and maintain records of comparative statements, work orders and food item purchases
• Survey markets for rates and quotations from suppliers
• Assist in the negotiation with suppliers and vendors with regards to price, warranty and after sales service
• Arrange emergency items and follow up on pending purchase orders
• Coordinate with Information Technology regarding changes in rates and updates in system
• Arrange gas cylinders and solve related problems
• Manage requirements for the Maintenance and Biomedical Department
• Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills
