Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University.
- LL.M. or Solicitor, Bar-at-law qualification is an added advantage for the DGM role.
- Deputy General Manager: Preferably 8-10 years of professional experience in a large national/multinational organization, with 5-7 years in a similar role or middle management.
- Junior Management: Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization, with 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at a senior equivalent position.
- Strong drafting, interpretational, communication, and influencing skills are vital.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Age Criteria:
- Deputy General Manager: Preferably not more than 45 years of age.
- Junior Management: Preferably not more than 33 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure proactive identification and mitigation of legal risks
- Provide legal assistance on oil/gas infrastructure projects, licensing, and franchising
- Offer legal advice on real estate transactions, shipping, and international trade
- Provide legal opinions on new business propositions, structure joint ventures/partnerships
- Oversee employment/labor law matters and draft/vet agreements, deeds, and other instruments
- Support compliance program implementation and supervise legal teams
- Provide legal support to senior management and the Board
- Represent the company before quasi-judicial/regulatory forums
- Manage and monitor litigation cases before courts/forums
- Review pleadings before court submission and maintain case status
- Vet agreements, MOUs, Addendums, and other legal documents
- Render legal opinions on various legal matters
- Provide legal advisory services and assistance to departments
- Review inquiry reports, charge sheets, show cause notices, and court orders
- Review contracts, agreements, letters, and proposals for compliance
- Identify and raise issues related to legal and statutory implications
- Stay updated on legal and statutory developments relevant to the business
- Advise the supervisor accordingly
