Skills
- Adopt a professional approach with all patients, staff, and visitors
- Perform complete paperwork and fill out relevant forms as per hospital protocols
- Record patient progress and events in the HMIS system
- Participate in patient management under supervision
- Ensure correct medication/instruction is given to patients
- Explain healthcare needs to patients
- Continuously enhance clinical competencies under supervision
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, especially Health and Safety at Work
- Maintain continuous and consistent communication with faculty, staff, patients, and their families
- Counsel patients and their families at their level of understanding
- Possess a valid license from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
- Demonstrate good written communication skills, particularly for patient care documentation
- Willingness to work in shift duties
- Experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Department & UCS is preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and perform complete paperwork by filling out relevant forms as per hospital protocols
- Record the progress and any event of the patient in the HMIS system accordingly following ward rounds or any other patient examinations, communication, or procedures
- Participate in the management of patients under the supervision of Senior Residents, Senior Medical Officer, Staff Medical Officer, and Consultants
- Ensure that patients are given correct medication/instruction as advised by the consultant and explain their healthcare needs
- Continually work towards enhancing competencies in a clinical setting under the supervision of consultants and other faculty and staff
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those relating to Health and Safety at Work
