Provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during duty hours
Evaluate admitted patients by taking history and performing physical examinations
Document patient progress and events in the HMIS system
Undertake ward rounds daily and document patient progress
Seek advice from senior team members for patient health concerns
Receive handover reports and attend ward areas promptly
Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
Manage laboring patients and perform vaginal deliveries as per competency
Assess and manage patients in the ER
Undertake medical procedures as advised by the Consultant
Liaise with nursing staff regularly regarding patient progress
Discuss medication on discharge and write discharge summaries
Provide urgent medical attention to staff or visitors in case of accident or illness
Remain on hospital premises whilst on duty to ensure continuous cover
