  • Document patient progress and events accurately in the HMIS system
  • Conduct daily ward rounds, ensuring appropriate patient visits
  • Record patient progress and any significant events following examinations or procedures
  • Seek guidance from senior team members for complex patient cases
  • Receive and attend to patient hand-over reports promptly
  • Deliver comprehensive care including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative services
  • Manage laboring patients and perform necessary deliveries as per competency
  • Assess and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Room
  • Perform specific medical procedures under guidance as advised by Consultants
  • Regularly communicate with nursing staff regarding patient progress
  • Discuss discharge medications with patients and prepare detailed discharge summaries
  • Ensure all patient medical information remains strictly confidential
  • Provide immediate medical attention to staff or visitors in case of accidents or sudden illness
  • Remain on hospital premises during scheduled duty hours
  • Ensure continuous patient cover in the absence of other medical officers
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, especially those concerning Health and Safety
  • Foster positive and effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues and patients' families
