Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, CA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA are preferred.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles, State Bank of Pakistan regulations, and international banking standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct the in-house economic analysis shop to produce timely macroeconomic outlooks and sovereign risk assessments for all operating regions
- Monitor global financial trends, geopolitical developments, and regulatory jurisdictions to gauge potential impacts on NBP's offshore balance sheets
- Design and implement tailored risk monitoring frameworks to track emerging international branch networks
- Establish clear key risk indicators (KRIs) that provide early warning signals for cross-border contagion
- Review and evaluate risk reports submitted by international entities on market risk, liquidity positions, and capital processes
- Ensure branch submittments comply with internal Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policies and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) guidelines
- Provide quantitative testing and capital adequacy assessments (ICAAP)
- Formulate synthesized reports and actionable data insights to be presented to Senior Management and ALCO
- Lead and oversee the Management Information Systems (MIS) of the Bank's credit risk
- Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive preparation of credit risk reports, dashboards, analytics, and management information for Senior Management, Risk and relevant stakeholders
- Oversee the collection, consolidation, validation, and reconciliation of credit risk data across Business Groups and relevant systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency and completeness
- Develop and implement automated MIS and reporting solutions for credit risk management, with a focus on reducing manual processes and enhancing reporting efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, data integration and automation within credit risk reporting and analytics and coordinate with ITG and relevant Business Groups for implementation
- Design and maintain risk dashboards, portfolio analytics, Business Intelligence driven reporting tools to facilitate effective analysis of credit risk trends, concentrations, asset quality and portfolio performance
- Review the quality and effectiveness of existing credit risk MIS and recommend improvements in line with evolving regulatory requirements, management needs, and industry best practices
- Coordinate with Business Groups, Finance, ITG and other relevant stakeholders to resolve data and reporting issues and ensure effective delivery of credit risk MIS and analytics within defined timelines
- Perform validation and periodic back testing of Obligor Risk Rating (ORR) models and outcomes to ensure accuracy, stability, and regulatory compliance
- Analyze key credit risk parameters, including Probability of Default (PD), Exposure at Default (EAD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and support the preparation, review, and reconciliation of regulatory and capital calculations and related MIS's
- Assist in the preparation, review and reconciliation of regulatory and governance activities, including documentation, model validation and periodic reviews in line with internal policies and applicable guidelines
- Support model performance monitoring and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate with relevant Business Groups, Finance, and IT teams for data analysis, and support ongoing enhancements to credit risk models and reporting frameworks by identifying areas for improvement
