Patient Welfare Officer at Indus Hospital & Health Network

We have an immediate opening for the post of Patient Welfare Officer.

  • Ability to scrutinize patients based on standardized assessment forms
  • Proficiency in determining Zakat or donation eligibility
  • Skill in obtaining wakala nama from eligible Zakat patients
  • Capability to review Zakat and donation status reports daily
  • Competence in generating monthly inpatient assessment reports
  • Strong liaison skills with reception and paramedical staff
  • Commitment to providing patient welfare services and promoting positive relations
  • Responsibility for maintaining assigned locations according to SOPs
  • Proactive in searching for and assessing skip patients
  • Ability to clearly communicate IHHN's policy of free healthcare services
  • Skill in briefing patients and representatives about assessment forms and confidentiality
  • Willingness to perform assigned tasks by supervisors and management

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scrutinize each patient at admission, procedure, or OPD visit using standardized forms to determine Zakat or donation status
  • Obtain wakala nama from Mustahiq e Zakat patients
  • Check daily Zakat and donation status reports to minimize errors
  • Prepare monthly inpatient assessment zakat and donation reports
  • Liaise with reception and paramedical staff for efficient welfare procedures
  • Provide patient welfare services and foster better patient relations in accordance with Shariah objectives
  • Maintain assigned locations in an appropriate and comfortable condition as per SOPs and supervisor directives
  • Search for skip patients (Day Care, OPD Patients) and call them for patient welfare assessment
  • Share IHHN's policy of providing free healthcare services to all patients confidentially
  • Brief patients, their attendants, or representatives about the assessment form, its purpose, and confidentiality
  • Perform any other assigned tasks by the immediate supervisor or management that align with knowledge and skills
