Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in assigned hospital units
• Develop and implement treatment plans under consultant supervision
• Perform clinical procedures within the scope of training and credentialing
• Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and ensure accurate patient documentation
• Respond to medical emergencies and escalate complex cases as needed
• Provide on-call coverage and coordinate patient referrals
• Collaborate with nursing and allied health teams for comprehensive patient care
• Counsel patients and families, obtaining informed consent for treatments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Ensure adherence to hospital clinical guidelines, SOPs, and patient safety standards
• Participate in clinical audits and morbidity/mortality meetings
• Engage with teams to facilitate high-quality care and improve patient experience
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
• Participate in CME, research initiatives, and case presentations
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Department
