Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Master's or Ph.D.
• In Epidemiology, Veterinary Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field
• Master in Project Management or MPA or equivalent
• 15 years of professional experience
• Experience in managing and coordinating large-scale programs
• Knowledge of international animal health programs
• Familiarity with international standards
• Experience in disease surveillance
• Emergency preparedness and response activities
• Willingness to travel
• Proficiency in computer applications and software
• Knowledge of budgeting
• Financial management
• Resource allocation

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee program implementation
• Strengthen national animal disease surveillance systems
• Ensure compliance with approved project objectives
• Adhere to national and international standards
• Manage national and international project activities
• Coordinate with stakeholders for effective program delivery
• Facilitate disease control and traceability initiatives
• Contribute to public health and animal welfare improvements
