- Assist physicians with procedures, ensuring patient readiness and equipment availability
- Execute physician orders and promptly address any concerns regarding prescribed treatments
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of medical supplies
- Regularly check and record patient blood sugar levels
- Perform blood draws and other necessary laboratory procedures on patients
- Monitor and record vital signs, particularly for patients undergoing or recovering from surgery
- Perform IV cannulations in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Report any patient, staff, or visitor-related incidents or untoward occurrences promptly
- Supervise and guide Nurse Aids and Student Nurses
