Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address and resolve patient needs
• Prepare medication requisitions and administer prescribed medications accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment
• Uphold infection-control policies and medication administration procedures
• Facilitate physician rounds and meticulously record their instructions
• Assist physicians with procedures, ensuring patient readiness and equipment availability
• Execute physician orders and promptly address any concerns regarding prescribed treatments
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of medical supplies
• Regularly check and record patient blood sugar levels
• Perform blood draws and other necessary laboratory procedures on patients
• Monitor and record vital signs, particularly for patients undergoing or recovering from surgery
• Perform IV cannulations in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Report any patient, staff, or visitor-related incidents or untoward occurrences promptly
• Supervise and guide Nurse Aids and Student Nurses
