Skills

• Ability to manage critically ill patients in MICU & MHDU
• Proficiency in airway and ventilatory support management
• Skilled in NIV/airway support/Intubation
• Competent in passing central lines, DL catheters, Art
• Line, Femoral sheath, LP
• Experience in managing emergencies like cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, and shock
• Ability to act as Team Lead for Rapid Response Team
• Skilled in Clinical & Point Of Care Ultrasound based management of fluid balance
• Strong administrative and supervisory capabilities
• Effective communication with hospital staff, medical officers, patients, and families
• Experience in counselling patients and their families

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide complete management for all MICU and MHDU patients
• Oversee airway and ventilatory support, sedation, analgesia, and vasopressors/inotropes in MICU
• Manage NIV/airway support/Intubation in MHDU and MICU
• Perform procedures such as passing Central lines, DL catheters, Art
• Line, Femoral sheath, and LP in MICU and MHDU
• Respond to and lead emergencies in the Critical Care Medicine Department, including cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, and shock
• Serve as Team Lead on duty for the Rapid Response Team
• Utilize Clinical & Point Of Care Ultrasound for fluid balance management in MICU
• Act as a shift supervisor in the absence of senior staff
• Ensure regular and effective communication with hospital staff and medical officers
• Counsel patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment
