Obtain and interpret blood gas samples, adjusting ventilatory parameters in consultation with a consultant
Manage arterial catheters
Maintain records of ventilators and update their daily functional status
Document spontaneous breathing trials and adherence to weaning criteria
Participate in the education of staff and patients regarding airway management, suctioning, intubation, NIV, and ventilator parameters
Ensure safe transport of critically ill patients requiring ventilatory assistance
