• Assist Consultant/Cardiac Surgeon during surgeries
• Handover and takeover incoming/outgoing shift unit/ward information
• Provide direct patient care throughout the shift
• Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards
• Resolve patient problems and needs utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies
• Prepare medication requisitions and administer medication
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols
• Facilitate doctors/consultants on their rounds and record instructions
