Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ER, ICU, or specialty units
- Propose a diagnosis based on history, examination, laboratory, and imaging data
- Develop and implement treatment plans under Consultant supervision
- Perform clinical procedures within the scope of training, specialty, and credentialing
- Participate in ward rounds and case discussions, ensuring timely and accurate patient documentation
- Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations
- Escalate complex cases to Consultants appropriately
- Provide on-call coverage as per the duty roster
- Offer clinical guidance and ensure adherence to hospital clinical guidelines and SOPs
- Participate in clinical audits, morbidity, and mortality meetings as guided
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards
- Engage with other teams to facilitate high-quality care and improve patient experience
- Participate in CME, research initiatives, and case presentations for capacity building
- Receive ongoing training to maintain essential certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, ATLS)
