Skills
- Proficiency in managing emergency patients
- Skilled in performing scheduled and emergency surgeries
- Ability to consult with senior consultants and HODs
- Experience in supervising SVD with VBASC, Expulsion, and Abortion
- Competence in performing C/S, ERPOC, manual removal of placenta, and EUA
- Excellent documentation skills in HIMS
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Medical Officers in the Emergency Room during high workload periods for timely management of emergency patients
- Prioritize and manage P1 and P2 patients during duty shifts
- Oversee patients in active labor within the Labor Room
- Conduct ward rounds for admitted patients
- Document the current status of ante-natal patients in HIMS
- Consult with concerned Consultants for advice on new onset problems in admitted patients and document advice in HMIS
- Perform scheduled and emergency surgeries, involving concerned consultants in case of complications
- Consult on-call consultants for acute life-threatening emergencies and immediately contact HOD if communication issues arise
- Attend departmental meetings
- Supervise SVD with VBASC, Expulsion, and Abortion
- Perform C/S, ERPOC, manual removal of placenta, and EUA
