• Supervise computerized inventory system maintenance
• Ensure proper material handling and segregation
• Ensure accurate goods issuance on FIFO basis
• Maintain optimal stock levels
• Prepare and approve purchase requisitions
• Arrange and manage material logistics during transportation
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory stakeholders
• Resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
• Ensure security of lock and key systems
• Adapt to tasks assigned by supervisors

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations and reporting staff
• Develop and deliver training programs for subordinate personnel
• Manage the upkeep and functionality of the computerized inventory management system
• Ensure accurate categorization, placement, and handling of all incoming goods
• Process and document the correct issuance of inventory to respective departments based on FIFO principles
• Maintain stock levels at predetermined optimal points, initiating purchase requisitions with necessary approvals
• Coordinate the safe and efficient handling of materials during loading, unloading, and transit
• Collaborate with department heads to address procurement and inventory-related challenges
• Immediately report any stock discrepancies or vital information to the HOD Warehouse
• Regularly inspect security protocols, including lock and key mechanisms, to mitigate risks
• Undertake any additional duties as delegated by the immediate supervisor, aligning with professional competencies
