• Maintain vigilance regarding infection control protocols within the CSSD environment
• Operate and monitor various machinery essential for central supply functions
• Conduct regular quality control checks, including monthly Sterilizer Bacterial Spore Strip Tests

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operational flow of the CSSD, particularly in the absence of the Supervisor
• Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to the Supervisor and Maintenance Department
• Thoroughly inspect all surgical trays prior to final packing
• Provide guidance and oversee the tasks of CSSD Technicians and Junior Technicians
• Log and track all complaints, ensuring resolution and reporting updates to the Assistant Manager
• Maintain the CSSD environment to established standards at all times
• Uphold safety, security, and aseptic measures within the CSSD
• Execute all duties assigned by supervisory staff or the Head of Department
• Plan and organize work effectively
• Implement sterilization, packing, and cleaning procedures in accordance with departmental standards and policies
• Ensure efficient sterilization and disinfection services for the operating room, obstetric day-care surgery, and other hospital units
• Monitor inventory levels of essential supplies such as detergents, disinfectants, and swabs, initiating procurement requests as needed
• Oversee the regular execution of quality control checks
