Staff Nurse - Medical ICU at Indus Hospital & Health Network
We have an immediate opening for the post of Staff Nurse - Medical ICU.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for patient handover and takeover, including patient files, medication charts, and investigation reports
- Provide direct patient care throughout the shift in a calm and courteous manner
- Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring health outcomes
- Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies
- Prepare medication requisitions and administer medications accurately
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and medication administration procedures
- Facilitate doctors and consultants during rounds and record their instructions
- Assist doctors with any required procedures, preparing patients physically and emotionally
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing care using correct charting techniques
- Carry out doctors' orders and question any concerns with prescribed treatment
- Ensure medical supply requirements for the unit/ward are well-stocked and readily available
- Perform IV cannulation of patients following the Clinical IPPs policy manual
- Perform delegated patient and non-patient related tasks as directed by the Ward In-charge or Nursing Coordinator
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Head of the Department
