Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic and intermediary serology skills
• Handle emergency release of blood products
• Conduct post-transfusion reaction workup and forward findings to the pathologist
• Execute advanced serology procedures
• Prepare reagents for all campuses following best manufacturing practices
• Conduct physical reconciliation of blood units within the Blood Bank Management Information System (BBMIS)
• Respond professionally to phone calls and communicate effectively with hospital staff and service partners
• Maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct
• Ensure compliance with defined processes and procedures to uphold Total Quality Management
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management
