Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure staff are present and re-allocate tasks during shifts
• Manage patient care activities and coordinate with previous shifts
• Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure compliance with duty hours
• Oversee professional conduct of healthcare workers and ward readiness
• Facilitate bed-to-bed patient handover and documentation
• Verify ward inventory and crash cart status
• Ensure availability of consumable supplies and record consumption
• Conduct weekly meetings with senior nursing team
• Liaise with CNI for in-service education needs
• Inform Nursing Management of special needs
• Conduct random rounds with staff for patient care supervision

• Provide hygiene care as per patient needs and document accordingly
• Ensure accurate calculation of intake and output
• Oversee collection and dispatch of patient investigations
• Ensure proper care of I/V lines, CVCs, drains, and tubes
• Assist in direct patient care during staff shortages or emergencies
• Ensure staff awareness of medication management processes
