- Periodically review and recommend updates to department policies, procedures, and job descriptions
- Report any incidents or significant events to senior management promptly
- Monitor the consumption of medications and general store supplies
- Assign daily duties to staff and create nursing staff duty rosters to optimize utilization and minimize overtime
- Provide counseling and guidance to all Radiology staff members
- Conduct regular rounds and escort special visitors during hospital tours
- Coordinate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth ward operations, including maintenance and billing
- Ensure proper patient handover (bed-to-bed) and accurate inventory management in every shift
- Conduct random checks of inventory and report any discrepancies to management
- Review reports from evening and night shift supervisors and communicate all incidents to management
- Keep the Head of Radiology informed about any special requirements of the ward
- Supervise daily Radiology activities of staff in accordance with current TIH guidelines and regulations
- Continuously observe patient conditions and supervise staff in patient care tasks
- Monitor patients and ensure proper documentation is maintained and recorded in the system
- Ensure staff perform hygiene care, investigations, and maintain inventories
- Monitor the proper functioning of biomedical equipment and the availability of necessary supplies
- Coordinate and communicate with consultants or medical officers on patient care issues
- Perform all staff tasks during resource shortages and emergency situations
- Execute all tasks assigned by the supervisor or head of department
