Supply Chain Officer at Indus Hospital & Health Network

We have an immediate opening for the post of Supply Chain Officer. The job location is Karachi.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of medical and general supplies
• Ensure timely availability of materials
• Maintain vendor relationships and support efficient supply chain operations
• Process purchase requisitions and prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs)
• Verify quotations, conduct comparative evaluations, and prepare comparative statements
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding quotations, negotiations, deliveries, warranties, and after-sales support
• Monitor delivery schedules and inform concerned departments of procurement status
• Inspect received materials, resolve discrepancies, and process rejections
• Maintain and update the approved vendor database and procurement records
• Verify market prices regularly and ensure procurement at competitive rates
• Maintain complete documentation for Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and related procurement records
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department
