Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems
• Monitor quality indicators to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Implement institutional initiatives to meet International quality standards
• Facilitate JCIA related initiatives and supervise staff in conducting tracers
• Develop strategies to ensure hospital-wide compliance with regulatory bodies
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
• Facilitate clinical governance processes to improve patient safety and care outcomes
• Collaborate with clinical teams to analyze patient care processes and identify areas for improvement
• Supervise periodic reviews of departmental quality systems
• Conduct training programs for staff on quality improvement methodologies and patient safety practices
• Responsible for orientation of new staff employed in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department
• Assist in preparation of policies, procedures, and manuals
• Facilitate in maintaining Credentialing and Privileging Records
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability among all staff members
• Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, administrative staff, and external stakeholders
• Engage with physicians, managers, and staff to facilitate discussions on quality improvement projects
• Provide support to end users in maintenance and analysis of the 'Incident Reporting System'
• Analyze identified risks to identify root causes of system failures and enhance system performance
• Design and support the implementation of solutions to eliminate recurring failures
• Development of Risk Register at all the facilities
• Analyze data related to patient outcomes, safety incidents, and quality metrics
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure the validity of data and quality related KPI's and compliance of all departments
• Implement defined strategies to ensure hospital-wide compliance to the goals and objectives of the PHC and other regulatory bodies
• Draft data driven plans related to the area of assignment
• Handle patient complaints (written & verbal)
• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, & quality management program
• Provide expert guidance to patients and their attendants, addressing concerns and facilitating solutions
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies aimed at improving patient convenience
• Work to deliver superior services and resolve patient issues effectively
• Compile and analyze departmental statistics, attend meetings as required, and keep the Head of Department informed
