Skills

• (Hons) in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Protection (Entomology or Plant Pathology)
• 3-5 years of practical field experience in crop protection, pest monitoring & management
• Experience in Biocontrol Labs is a significant advantage
• Ability to scout orchards and crops for pests and diseases
• Skill in developing and applying natural, chemical-free pest management solutions
• Knowledge of rearing beneficial insects
• Proficiency in preparing botanical extracts and organic treatments
• Capability to train and supervise farm teams on organic protection techniques
• Competence in maintaining detailed records and submitting regular reports

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily field scouting of orchards and crops to identify pests and diseases early
• Develop and implement natural, chemical-free pest management strategies
• Rear beneficial insects in the Biocontrol Lab and release them into the fields
• Prepare botanical extracts and organic treatments for pest control
• Train and supervise the farm team on organic protection techniques
• Maintain detailed records of pest activity, treatments, and outcomes
• Submit regular reports on farm health and pest management activities
