• Job Title: Branch Manager (AVP)
• Department: Aitemaad Islamic Banking
• Reporting To: Regional Head
• Experience Required: Minimum 6 years in branch banking, with at least 3 years in a Branch Manager role, preferably in Islamic Banking.
• Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduation or equivalent; Commerce Graduation/Islamic Banking certification/degree or diploma preferred.
• Location: Gharo District Thatta, Islamabad, Kasur, Lahore and Sadda District Kurram.
• Employment Type: Contractual (3 years, renewable)

Skills

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university
• Candidates with Commerce Graduation/Islamic Banking certification/degree or diploma will be preferred
• Minimum 06 years' experience in branch banking, with at least 03 years as Branch Manager, preferably in Islamic Banking
• Sound knowledge of branch banking operations and Islamic Banking products
• Proficiency in compliance regulations (AML/CFT/SBP) and Prudential Regulations (PRs)
• Strong business acumen and expertise in audit issues
• Goal-oriented, result-driven, and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with good interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To undertake responsibility for overall branch affairs, including supervision, business development, and marketing of Islamic banking products
• To meet branch targets for existing-to-bank (ETB) and new-to-bank (NTB) customers, focusing on deposits, finances, retail banking products, and e-commerce applications
• To execute and deliver the branch's annual business plan and prepare periodic performance reports
• To meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annually targets assigned by the business
• To cascade branch targets to staff, regularly tracking performance and productivity
• To minimize customer attrition and maintain top quartile customer base
• To monitor and process cross-selling of liabilities and assets at the branch level
• To devise strategies to counter competition and maximize market share
• To be responsible for fraud and forgery prevention with stringently applied internal controls
• To support new product launches and sales initiatives
• To ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, instructions, and SOPs, including Shariah Compliance
• To monitor and periodically review the credit portfolio
• To ascertain training and development needs of staff and nominate them for appropriate courses
• To maintain the highest standards of customer service at all times
• To manage customer complaints effectively and ensure prompt resolution
• To ensure upkeep of branch premises as per standard
• To ensure fair treatment of customers and educate them about financial products
• To review branch audit and performance reports, addressing internal and external observations
• To maintain all files, documentations, and ensure comprehensive records related to branch business
• To ensure all processes are completed within specified TAT
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisors
