Skills

• Professional qualification (CA/ACMA/ICAEW/ACCA) or Master's degree in Business Administration (Finance)
• Membership in ICAP, ACCA, ICMAP, or ICAEW, or equivalent professional accounting body
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the field of Audit, Finance & Accounts, and Corporate Affairs
• At least seven to ten (7-10) years in a senior management role
• Experience in a national/international development sector organization is advantageous
• Extensive experience in strategic financial management, forecasting, planning, and financial monitoring
• Sound understanding of treasury, corporate governance, taxation, and compliance requirements
• Experience in liaising with stakeholders, regulators, and government agencies
• Thorough knowledge/experience of accounting/finance of grant management
• Experience in ERP/SAP is preferred
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with high integrity and dependability
• Strategic thinker and a result-oriented individual with good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Possess a collaborative yet disciplined management style to ensure team performance and capability
• Ability to organize, train, and oversee the work of the team for efficient and effective delivery of results

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the Finance, Accounts, statutory compliance, and Treasury functions of the organization
• Provide leadership in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
• Ensure appropriate advice is given to the Board on all financial matters
• Maintain an effective system of internal financial control and risk mitigation
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions
• Develop financial models and undertake analysis to identify critical trends and create future forecasts
• Review and approve the process of implementation of partners' expenditures
• Actively participate in shaping strategy of the organization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions
• Provide advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation of reporting to the company
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
• Require effective and efficient supervision and strategic guidance to the departments working under his/her domain
