Duties and Responsibilities:

• Code inpatient, outpatient, and day care discharges using coding classifications and TIH guidelines
• Prepare standard reports from coded/abstract data
• Participate in client audit meetings to enhance coding accuracy
• Update histopathology of coded charts daily
• Update daycare and inpatient discharges reports monthly
• Trace and code all medical record folders that were not coded
• Trace and code backlog discharges
• Perform any other assigned tasks by the Head/Assistant Manager of coding department
