Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage communities in the program’s catchment area
• Utilize different community engagement approaches and participatory rural appraisal (PRA) tools to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas
• Identify stakeholders and facilitators in the communities, conduct regular meetings with them and maintain positive working relationships with them
• Document all the data coming from the field, both qualitative and quantitative, including the stories coming from the community
• Report progress and weekly updates to the program coordinator
• Identify and register target populations
• Raise awareness among families and caregivers about the importance of routine immunization and vaccination schedules
• Mobilize community members to attend outreach and fixed immunization sessions
• Support vaccinators during outreach sessions, including crowd management and line listing
• Maintain accurate household and immunization records
• Follow up with defaulting families to ensure completion of vaccination doses
• Assist in maintaining cold chain equipment during sessions if required
• Report any adverse events following immunization (AEFI) to the supervisor immediately
• Perform any other task as assigned by the Supervisor
