Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist industry and sectoral rating exercises
- Conduct analysis of key economic sectors
- Identify strengths, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks
- Collect, validate, and maintain industry specific data
- Monitor and analyze regulatory, fiscal, and monetary policy developments
- Provide input for short-term outlooks
- Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating credit policies, manuals and guidelines
- Support senior officers in policy interpretation
- Clarify policy matters to business units
- Review credit proposals for policy compliance
- Highlight deviations if any
- Maintain records of policy exceptions, approvals and related documentation
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations and MIS related to credit policy and portfolio trends
- Coordinate with Credit Risk, Compliance, Audit and Business Units for effective policy implementation
- Support policy reviews in response to regulatory changes or internal risk assessments
- Analyze credit proposals, identify risks, and suggest mitigants
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Review credit proposals and analyze credit risk
- Assess creditworthiness of the obligor in conjunction with collateral offered
- Provide insightful and timely portfolio analysis
- Analyze credit proposals and recommend for Regional Executive Credit's approval & recommendation
- Credit intelligence to identify business opportunities with an acceptable risk profile
- Reviewing credit proposals with product solutioning and recommendations
- Assist in internal/external audits
- Coordinate with business group for clarifications and relevant information
- Partner with business and risk teams to develop and execute credit analysis
- Provide credit analysis with consideration for market dynamics and client industry
- Analyze client cash flow and liquidity with ratio analysis and/or stress testing
- Analyze reputational risk profile, including climate and sustainability risks
- Handle & Present MIS as per Executives requirements
- Manage zoom meetings, including scheduling, hosting and troubleshooting
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate daily appointments
- Maintain records, files and departmental documentation in an organized manner
- Draft letters, emails, notes, minutes of meeting and internal communications
- Ensure confidentiality, professionalism and timely completion of tasks
