• Obtain and interpret blood gas samples, adjusting ventilatory parameters in consultation with a consultant
• Manage arterial catheters
• Maintain records of ventilators and update their daily functional status
• Document spontaneous breathing trials and adherence to weaning criteria
• Participate in the education of staff and patients regarding airway management, suctioning, intubation, NIV, and ventilator parameters
• Ensure safe transport of critically ill patients requiring ventilatory assistance
