Deputy Manager - Nursing Services at Indus Health Network

  • BScN/Post RN with minimum 07 years of experience or MScN with minimum 05 years of experience

  • Expertise in nursing documentation and HMIS
  • Ability to conduct staff meetings and provide feedback
  • Skill in conflict resolution and problem-solving

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor operational oversight of patient care service across designated campus
  • Evaluate workload and staffing to meet patient care needs and staff satisfaction
  • Direct and coordinate clinical activities to ensure safe patient care
  • Monitor the level of resources utilized and determine effective use
  • Ensure nursing documentation is accurate and complete on paper and HMIS
  • Encourage best possible patient care and facilitation for patients' attendants
  • Lead staff and patient problem-solving, feedback, and conflict resolution
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to address concerns
  • Make regular clinical rounds and maintain knowledge of each unit's status
  • Review duty rosters for rational distribution and delegation of workload
  • Ensure overall unit performance through area in-charges
  • Participate in interdepartmental meetings to stay aware of activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal audits for compliance with policies and SOPs
  • Review and interpret organizational policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and sharing of reports
  • Encourage quality improvement reporting and investigation of complaints/incidents
  • Develop and implement strategies for data collection on nursing indicators and CQI
  • Ensure timely closure with the implementation of corrective preventive actions
  • Review daily reports for accuracy and share with all concerned
  • Prepare nursing areas for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of learning opportunities for staff skills development
  • Ensure timely finalization and display of duty rosters
  • Plan fiscal budgets for workforce and materials with justified reasoning
  • Ensure timely probationary confirmation with formal meetings and constructive feedback
  • Address various staff concerns, including clinical placement, attendance, and counseling
  • Collaborate with Human Resources for staff hiring, training, and performance appraisal
  • Review biannual individual objectives of staff to discuss areas of improvement
