Skills

• Advanced qualification (PhD) in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computer Science or Administrative / Management Sciences
• Minimum 15 publications in impact factor/HEC recognized journals
• Minimum ten (10) years of managerial experience in higher education institution(s)
• Must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under the SECP Public Sector Companies (Appointment of CEO) Guidelines, 2015
• Must demonstrate clear understanding of statutory duties, fiduciary responsibilities, and corporate governance obligations
• Ability to work with Government as Shareholder, Boards, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the executive and academic head of the institute
• Be responsible before the BoD of NFC-IEFR as per the applicable law
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the institute
• Oversee academic programs and research activities
• Manage administrative and financial operations
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
