Skills

• Advanced qualification (PhD) in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, or Administrative/Management Sciences
• Minimum total of 15 publications in impact factor/HEC recognized journals, preferably with five publications in the last five years
• Minimum ten (10) years of managerial experience in higher education institutions or nationally reputed regulatory or accreditation bodies
• Demonstrated understanding of statutory duties, fiduciary responsibilities, and corporate governance obligations of Chief Executive
• Ability to work with Government as Shareholder, Boards, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC
• Ability to prepare a 2-3 page Concept Paper detailing an actionable vision for NFC-IEFR
• Focus areas include financial sustainability, academic excellence, digital innovation, and global ranking strategies

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the executive and academic head of the institute
• Be responsible before the BoD of NFC-IEFR as per applicable law
• Lead advanced engineering and technology programs
• Manage the institute's operations and strategic direction
• Foster innovation and academic rigor
• Manage diverse stakeholders effectively
• Ensure the institute's continued growth and contribution to national development
