Skills

• Advanced qualification (PhD) in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computer Science or Administrative / Management Sciences
• Total 15 publications in impact factor/HEC recognized journals, preferable with five publications in last five years
• Minimum ten (10) years of managerial experience in higher education institution(s) or nationally reputed regulatory or accreditation bodies
• Experience in organizations engaged in education policy, research and development, and training and development
• At least three (3) years in a senior leadership role (C-suite level), such as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer/Director General/Director
• Meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under the SECP Public Sector Companies (Appointment of CEO) Guidelines, 2015
• Demonstrate clear understanding of statutory duties, fiduciary responsibilities, and corporate governance obligations of Chief Executive under the Companies Act, 2017
• Ability to work with Government as Shareholder, Boards, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC
• Prepare a 2-3 page Concept Paper detailing an actionable vision for NFC-IEFR
• Focus areas include financial sustainability, academic excellence, digital innovation, and global ranking strategies

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the executive and academic head of the institute
• Be responsible before the BoD of NFC-IEFR as per the applicable law
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the institute
• Oversee academic programs and research activities
• Manage administrative functions and ensure efficient operations
• Foster collaborations with universities and industry partners
• Contribute to policy development and implementation
