Skills

• Receive, verify, and handle medicines and supplies
• Store medicines under prescribed conditions
• Arrange stock according to FEFO method
• Prepare and maintain records of goods received
• Assist in filling requisitions
• Ensure cleanliness of pharmacy storage areas
• Maintain records of goods issued
• Coordinate with maintenance for temperature and cleanliness
• Monitor physical stock
• Assist in maintaining temperature records
• Transport medicines to various pharmacy locations
• Provide cover for Pharmacy Assistants

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming pharmaceutical supplies and verify against invoices
• Ensure proper storage of medicines, adhering to temperature and environmental controls
• Implement the First Expired First Out (FEFO) system for inventory management
• Generate and submit Goods Received Notes (GRNs) to the billing department daily
• Support the Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician in issuing medicines based on approved requisitions
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in refrigerators, racks, and storage surfaces
• Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing pharmaceutical items
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to uphold optimal storage conditions
• Assist in conducting physical stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Record and monitor daily room and refrigerator temperatures as per established protocols
• Transport medicines efficiently to designated pharmacy points within the network
• Offer support and cover for Pharmacy Assistants during their absence
