General Information:

• Positions are on a contract basis for one to two years, with potential for extension based on performance.
• Salary will be offered on an initial basis and revised annually with a 5% to 15% increase.
• Interested Pakistani nationals meeting eligibility criteria should apply.
• Experience means experience gained after obtaining the required qualification/degree.
• Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview in Islamabad.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings, and legal documentation for proceedings before courts, tribunals, appellate forums, and other competent authorities
• Manage the court processes and related matters
• Provide inputs for litigation and appellate proceedings
• Conduct comparative studies on trade and tariff-related legal issues
• Maintain case diary of court work and related matters
• Perform periodic progress reports on assigned tasks
• Conduct legal research on domestic and international trade laws, WTO Agreements, trade remedy regimes, administrative law, and related legal frameworks
• Assist in drafting legal opinions, briefing notes, summaries, reports, legal memoranda, and analytical papers
• Assist in the legal review of anti-dumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard investigations conducted by the Commission
• Maintain legal databases, records, research repositories, and case-law compilations
• Perform any other legal research, analytical, or drafting assignments entrusted by the Chairman, Member Legal, Secretary, or Head of Legal Wing
