Indus Hospital & Health Network is currently seeking a highly experienced Qualitative Researcher to join the Community Health Directorate in Badin. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and implementation of qualitative research activities for the baseline study of utilization of MNCH services
  • Review and refine FGD and KII discussion guides in consultation with the project team
  • Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) as per the design
  • Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with government officials, health service providers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure discussions are conducted in safe, private, and culturally appropriate settings
  • Obtain informed consent from participants before conducting FGDs or KIIs
  • Seek explicit permission before audio recording and ensure participants understand their right to decline
  • Ensure confidentiality and anonymity of participants
  • Supervise note-taking and documentation of discussions
  • Develop a coding framework for qualitative data analysis
  • Conduct thematic analysis of qualitative data
  • Triangulate qualitative findings with quantitative household survey findings
  • Prepare qualitative summaries and key findings for inclusion in the baseline report
  • Assist the project team in report writing and interpretation of findings
  • Lead data cleaning and analysis of household survey, FGD, KII and healthcare facilities data, analyze and share final report of Landscaping
