- Lead and participate in PHC audits and high-profile rounds
- Effectively allocate staff based on patient acuity, workload, and available resources
- Conduct daily morning briefings with staff to discuss concerns and updates
- Ensure staff adherence to duty hours, professional attire, and punctuality
- Maintain professional conduct among healthcare workers
- Prepare wards for physician rounds and ensure patient readiness
- Oversee patient handover processes and ensure accurate documentation
- Verify ward inventory and conduct checks on supplies and equipment
- Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and manage consumption records
- Collaborate with CNI for staff training and development initiatives
- Report any special needs or concerns of the ward to Nursing Management
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and overall ward management
- Ensure comprehensive patient assessments and care plans are completed and reviewed
- Monitor patient vital signs and document relevant health metrics
- Provide and document essential hygiene care for patients
- Accurately calculate and document patient intake and output
- Ensure prescribed patient investigations are carried out and documented
