- Liaise with CNI on daily/weekly basis to discuss in-service education needs and training
- Inform Nursing Management of any special needs of the ward under supervision
- Conduct random rounds with staff to observe patient care and overall management
- Ensure completion and review of patients' initial assessments and care plans
- Monitor fresh vital signs, height, and weight of new admissions and document in patient records
- Ensure provision of hygiene care as per patients' individual needs and documentation
- Ensure each patient's vital signs, height, and weight are checked and documented as per policy
- Ensure exact calculation of intake and output, drainage, and documentation in patient records
- Ensure prescribed investigations of the patient are completed
