• Must have completed a 2-year training program for a postgraduate degree with specializations in relevant fields.
• Experience in emergency medicine is required.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine.

Skills

• Completed training for postgraduate degree (FCPS/MCP/MS/IMM or equivalent qualification)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Look after all patients requiring hemodialysis on relevant campus, including those needing temporary or life-long hemodialysis
• Fulfill all prerequisites for hemodialysis, including consent, welfare, angio-access, counseling, hemodialysis prescription, and investigations
• Be eligible to perform temporary angio-access on patients as per guidelines set by the Nephrology department in coordination with Infection Control
• Implement all standard operating procedures within the hemodialysis facility
• Possess valid ACLS certification to initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the event of sudden cardiovascular collapse
• Assess any patient in emergency, critical care, or elsewhere for the need of hemodialysis
